CR 315C is a project recently completed for Clay County to increase the safety of the facility by adding paved shoulders and extend the service of the facility by resurfacing the roadway pavement that was in very poor condition. The funds for the improvement were made available by a grant from the FDOT (LAP). From the outset, the project was identified as being under budgeted. The ETM team worked with Clay County Engineering Staff to minimize the additional funds required from the County by preparing multiple pavement designs, early bidding for budgetary confirmations and eliminating any unnecessary project elements.
