Muirfield Investment Partners, based in Palm Beach Garden, plans to build an apartment complex across the street from the Altamonte Springs SunRail Station.

The proposed plans, for a 13.25-acre lot at 962 1st. St. in Altamonte Springs, call for a 322-unit apartment complex. The apartments will consist of studios and 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units to be built within four 4-story buildings, which will each be built on a separate corner of the rectangular property. There will be a central amenity area in the middle of the complex, complete with a clubhouse, a pool, and a pool pavilion with outdoor seating. Other proposed amenities, which are subject to change, include a playground area and open space.

Orlando-based England-Thims & Miller, Inc. (ETM) is the project engineer for the apartment complex, which will be called Muirfield Altamonte Springs. The lot currently sits vacant, with several underused commercial buildings.
