Congratulations to Rhodes Robinson, ETM Director of Environmental Services, for receiving the University of North Florida 2024 Honorary Alumni Award!

With a career spanning 30 years in the environmental consulting field, Rhodes has made remarkable contributions to the infrastructure and development industry and his community. Throughout his career, he conducted extensive environmental studies covering over a million acres of land in the southeastern United States and the Caribbean. Rhodes, alongside his wife, Sarah, founded Environmental Services, Inc., a prominent ecological consulting firm headquartered in Jacksonville. After successfully expanding his business and gaining industry recognition, Rhodes joined ETM as the Director of Environmental Services. In this role, Rhodes serves as a senior advisor and brings extensive expertise, particularly in the domains of environmental permitting and strategy. Leveraging his profound knowledge and experience, he enhances ETM’s solutions for environmental and sustainability issues.

Beyond his professional achievements, Rhodes has been deeply involved with the University of North Florida. For more than a decade, he has been a dedicated member of the UNF – College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Leadership Council. Additionally, he actively participates in the University’s Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE) Community Council.

Rhodes also serves as a mentor for UNF students pursuing studies in Wetlands Science and Biology through unique internship opportunities and more recently, by becoming an adjunct professor of Wetlands Science. Furthermore, Rhodes and Sarah established the UNF Robinson Family Scholarship in 2022, aimed at providing support to undergraduates majoring or minoring in Biology, Environmental Sciences, or Environmental Studies.

Rhodes Robinson’s journey is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to both environmental conservation and higher education. His recognition with the 2024 Honorary Alumni Award from the University of North Florida is a well-deserved honor, celebrating his outstanding contributions to the community and the field of environmental science. Since joining our team in 2023, Rhodes continues to make a huge impact and we are honored to have him on our team of Trusted Advisors.
