ETM Survey provided design surveying services for SR A1A in Vilano Beach, St. Johns County. This project required the recovery of the existing baseline of survey that had been established by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and monuments to tie in the Coastal Construction Control Line (CCCL) to the survey datum.
Topographic and 3D DTM surveys were performed through the 3-mile project corridor within the existing road right-of-way. The alignment as recovered was also perpetuated with new reference point monumentation through the length of the project.
