St. Augustine Pedestrian Wayfinding

Client: City of St. Augustine

Our firm was responsible for providing planning and design for a pedestrian wayfinding system for the City of St. Augustine. The design process involved significant research and site investigations to understand the pedestrian experience of the City in order to best service the large tourist population that visits the city annually.

The signage was designed to blend with the historic character of the City, to provide an easier self-guided pedestrian experience, and guide visitors to the many sites listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The initial phase of the signage program was installed in 2014 within the downtown core and the Map that was developed by our firm is now being used as the basis for future print collateral by the City.
