Camp Milton is a historic site in which protects the remains of a mile-long Civil War encampment.
We were contracted to provide our services to help preserve of this renowned site, which includes the re-creation of the late 1800’s homestead, an arboretum for historic trees, a literacy center designed to look like an old barn, paved trails, a replica of a Civil War Campaign bridge, nature trails, extensive boardwalks, restrooms, water well, grass paved parking lot, and historical interpretive signs.
In addition, we completed the Florida Communities Trust (FCT) grant application for this property, which was awarded and made the acquisition of this property possible. In 2005, ETM was awarded the Historic Preservation Award for this project.
