Nocatee Parkway is a 7 mile, 4 lane limited access facility that runs from Philips Highway (US 1) through Nocatee and out to the beaches. The new $150 Million highway and various interchanges were designed to provide the community with easy access to Philips Highway, along with a convenient way to get from one side of Nocatee to the other.
Nocatee Parkway is a welcome addition and improvement to the hurricane evacuation plan for the beaches. It provides many coastal communities with a fast and efficient emergency route.
ETM provided verification documentation and practices for this project. The construction included clearing and grubbing, storm drainage, construction of single and double barrel box culverts, the construction of 8 bridges, transmission/distribution utility installations, drilled shaft construction, MSE wall, installation of concrete curb, sidewalk, medians, signalization, striping, and sodding.
ETM monitored the implementation of maintenance of traffic schemes, roadway detour and permanent roadway construction and observed and insured proper delivery and testing of material elements.
