ETM Celebrates 45 Years at Annual Thanksgiving Celebration and Company Meeting

This month, our team of nearly 300 individuals celebrated 45 years of service at our Annual Thanksgiving Celebration and Company Meeting. Delicious food was enjoyed, milestone anniversaries were commemorated, and our team members’ hard work was celebrated.

This year, we launched the first Annual ETM Excellence Awards, recognizing our team, their commitment to our community, and their project expertise.

Creating Community Award

This team award recognizes the human connection made outside of our projects, either internally or externally. This can be seen through team building and camaraderie, mentorship, professional organization involvement, fundraising, and community engagement initiatives.

Highlands Middle School Community Engagement

Creating Community Award

Since 2020, the ETM Family has raised over $15,000 for the Highlands Middle School. These funds enabled us to purchase backpacks, sweatshirts, gifts for teachers and staff, and to support the school’s career fair. ETM team members have worked directly with students as tutors and guest speakers, offering insight into our industry and career opportunities. This is one of the longest-running community outreach programs that we have at ETM.

Innovation Award

This team award recognizes a specific initiative that demonstrates intellectual curiosity and the ability to consistently find ways to say “Yes.” They understand the desired outcome and recognize and seize opportunities that add value to our clients and our firm.

DeepVUE and Cartegraph for the City of Jacksonville/DIA

The Geospatial Technologies team has deployed numerous implementations of DeepVUE and Cartegraph to public and private clients across the country. Today, the City of Jacksonville/Downtown Investment Authority uses DeepVUE and Cartegraph to manage its assets in Downtown Jacksonville. This includes everything from graffiti work orders to parking meters, to street light maintenance. We congratulate the Geospatial Technologies team on the innovation used to integrate Esri, Cartegraph, and DeepVUE into unique applications to serve a specific client need.

Project Excellence Award

This award recognizes a team on a specific project that has proven the ability to deliver excellence. Projects were rated based on their uniqueness and innovative applications, value to the client and community impact, complexity and creative design solutions that enhanced cost savings or aesthetics, and successful fulfillment of client needs.

Pages Dairy Road

Due to heavy use and a growing population, Nassau County needed to resurface and widen 3 miles of Pages Dairy. JEA needed to install water mains along Felmor Road and Pages Dairy Road and tie them into existing water mains. FDOT also needed to reconstruct the existing CR 200A Bridge over Lofton Creek on Pages Dairy Road. A portion of all three of these projects was within the same footprint and was ongoing at the same time. This project was given the Project Excellence Award because it was delivered to the client early and under budget, resulting in raving reviews from the County. In addition, the CEI project team worked diligently to coordinate the efforts of multiple public agencies.

Trusted Advisor

This award recognizes an individual who, no matter their role, has earned the trust of their client. They make serving their client’s interests the basis of all decisions, have a team-first mentality, and lead by example.

Jordon Tindell, Geospatial Analyst

Jordon Tindell has been with our team since 2018 and has been a key player in the growth of our Geospatial Technologies department. Jordon knows her client’s business and consistently seeks opportunities to add value while keeping her clients’ best interests in mind. She is a servant leader, helpful, responsive, and known for delivering results. In addition, Jordon understands the importance of delivering concierge service, elevating experiences, and exceeding expectations. During her free time, she coaches soccer for children with special needs and serves as the Community Engagement Chair for NextUp Jax

Corporate Champion

This award recognizes the amazing support staff working behind the scenes, not necessarily interacting with projects or revenue, but still instrumental to our business.

Medina Hadziavdic, Senior Marketing Coordinator

Medina has been with our team since 2015, originally joining us as a Student Intern. She is a member of our Marketing team and manages the production of all proposals for our public sector clients. Medina plays a key role in business development initiatives and has impacted nearly every public sector project we are working on today. Medina is an expert in her field, exceeding expectations and always supporting the ETM Family with a smile on her face.

Special congratulations to all the ETM Excellence Award winners!
