Our summer partnership with Highlands Middle School was a huge success! Members from our team (pictured) hosted presentations on numerous industry topics, including geospatial technologies, traffic and transportation design, civil engineering, CEI, and even how art plays a role in our industry. During the presentations, the students were highly engaged and showed interest in each topic.
Finally, in appreciation of their hard work, our staff put together a delicious breakfast for all the educators to enjoy before the new school year.
How it Started
Our partnership with Highlands Middle School began during the Winter of 2020, when our firm gathered over $5,000 and three barrels of snacks for the school. The monetary donations allowed us to purchase backpacks, sweatshirts, and polo shirts for the students, as well as gift cards for the staff.
Following this, our partnership continued with virtual tutoring sessions, industry-based presentations, and a celebratory event in honor of Teacher Appreciation Day.
